I'm a chemist with a focus on oxidation-state chemistry and the behavior of high-oxidation anions in solution — the same family of compounds this site's name is quietly borrowed from. Most of my work sits between the bench and the spreadsheet: designing experiments, then making sure the numbers that come out of them actually mean something.
